My fascination with designing and making began in childhood. Like most children I loved toys, however my greater love was for beads, ribbons, fabrics and all manner of materials needed to bring my ideas life. Over the years, this passion combined with specialised training has enabled me to pave a career for myself in the work that I love.
I graduated in 2001 with a BA Honours Degree in Fashion Design from the prestigious Nottingham Trent University School of Art and Design. Although I covered many areas of design while at university, I was always particularly drawn to special occasion wear and more specifically bridal wear. I relished the opportunity to work with luxury fabrics and finishings as well as couture pattern cutting and sewing techniques. In my final year I was honoured to have my collection selected for London Graduate Fashion Week.
Since graduating, I have worked for a couture design studio in the fashionable West End of London as well as specialist bridalwear and couture retailers. In 2002, I established my own business designing innovative made to measure wedding gowns, occasion wear, jewellery and other accessories.
I continue to design and make wedding gowns, evening and occasion wear, as well as tiaras and bridal accessories, in addition to a wide range of fashion jewellery. Due to the growth in popularity of my bridal accessories, these are also available through selected bridal retailers. My philosophy is simple. To create bespoke garments and accessories that are both unique and to your exact requirements ensuring you feel fabulous at your up and coming event.
